SGIP Notice or Bypass SGIP

RRF Approval, if you allotted to wait for RRF Approval, the Schedule below is how process will work.

In this timeline funding should be raised at a low interest rate for a 12 to 144 months loan, depending on how you want to use the rebate as specified. Rebates can be 12 months therefore a low interest loan is good. Contractor or Dealer is paid 100%. Rebate goes to the homeowner.

RRF Confirmation Date:

This starts the first day of 8 Weeks or less. 25% is due on this Approval date, we will not proceed at this point until we have received the first 25% this process takes about 2-4 weeks depending on fabrication of cabinets.

Build of Systems:

This is the day we received your cabinet at our warehouse. Start of the system build the second 25% is due and an install date is scheduled for delivery of system 2 weeks or less. At this time homeowners or dealers should prepare for construction to start and get a prearrange date of installation within 2-weeks.

Delivery Ship or Installation Day:

This is where the system now becomes the Dealer or Homeowners item, last 50% is due as the system is not in our possession, If SunFusion is installing the system in a training platform or for a Dealer this is still the same.

After Installation:

2-7 days - Once installation is completed, SunFusion or the Installation Team will redline the project for the permit and Netmetering. SunFusion or the Dealer will then apply for the electrical permit as installed. Charge orders are sent to Dealers or Homeowners at this point to complete the payment.

Inspection Has Passed:

Once the AHJ has passed the inspection 1 – 3 days after receiving the permit the inspector releases the meter to NETMETERING the Utility. 3 to 5 days later Utility approval will be authorized, at this time you may sell any additional solar back to the grid. SunFusion nor the Contractor is in anyway affiliated with the utility or the way they work.

Net metering has passed:

This is where SunFusion or the Dealer will process the ICF completed forms for the rebate process 1 to 3 weeks after net metering, we will need access to the site for virtual inspection and GPS photos to finish this process, once this process is complete 30 to 45 days later you should receive your Rebate check.

Notes to Follow:

SunFusion nor its dealers are affiliated with or control the process of the rebate checks, any and all issues about rebates should be to the SGIP person handling your account, any Netmetering question should be handled by the Netmetering department of the utility, any battery issues are handle by SunFusion, any sales issues are handled by the company that sold the project, any promises by sales individual are handled by sales rep, if it’s not written in an addendum is needed By the Sales person and the Homeowner with SunFusion or and Dealer approval.
